Lorenzo Gatti | Managing Partner

Born in Milan in 1960, Lorenzo has collected a broad experience in managing M&A processes in a variety of industry sectors, assisting industrial enterprises or their shareholders as well as private equity funds, in Germany and Italy. Prior to founding Gatti & Co. in 2009, Lorenzo was Managing Director in the Frankfurt office of Leonardo & Co., part of the advisory division of Gruppo Banca Leonardo, and Partner of the Frankfurt-based investment banking firm Drueker & Co. He started his professional career at Telettra Telecomunicazioni in Milan.

Lorenzo holds a degree cum laude in electronic engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) and an MBA from Columbia Business School (New York, USA). He is fluent in German, Italian and English.

Born in Bolzano in 1969, Stefan has gathered several years of M&A and corporate finance experience at leading international investment banks Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank as well as auditing firm Arthur Andersen in Milan, Frankfurt and London. Stefan also worked as a management consultant (Accenture) and as a CFO of a German system integrator in the photovoltaic industry.

Stefan holds a degree in Business Administration from Universita’ Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (Milan, Italy) as well as an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T. (Boston, USA). Stefan is also a Certified Investor Relations Officer (Germany), a Certified Corporate Treasurer (Germany) as well as a Certified Corporate Controller (Horvath – Germany). He is fluent in German, Italian and English.
